Woven Roots, Illustrations
Mixed-media, middle grade and intergenerational graphic novel that highlights the social-emotional coming-of-age journey of a neuro-diverse Armenian-American female as she is empowered by the connectedness of her Armenian community, explores her evolving Armenian identity, and embraces the diversity within the Armenian Diaspora. This story has three arcs: the overall story’s progression, the artwork itself, and the main character’s development. This project is in-progress.
